These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Odds News iOS app, theodds.news, APIs, waitlist, and related services operated by freddy made another one LLC (collectively, "The Odds News"). These Terms are hosted at https://theodds.news/terms. By using The Odds News, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What The Odds News provides

The Odds News is an informational news reader that connects reporting with publicly available prediction-market information. The Odds News may display article summaries, source links, market prices, probability changes, charts, generated commentary, and automated story-to-market matches. The website may also collect waitlist requests for app access and product updates.

No trading or financial advice

The Odds News does not execute trades, hold funds, offer brokerage services, or provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or gambling advice. Market prices and editorial signals are informational only and may be delayed, incomplete, incorrect, or unavailable. Do not rely on The Odds News as the sole basis for a financial or wagering decision. You are responsible for evaluating information and complying with laws that apply to you.

Third-party content and services

News articles, publisher names, logos, market data, and external links may belong to third parties. The Odds News summarizes and links to those sources for context and does not control their accuracy, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of Kalshi, news publishers, Clerk, Apple, OneSignal, Mapbox, Resend, or any other third-party service is governed by that provider's terms.

Accounts and waitlist

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly report unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may delete your account through the Account screen in the app. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee app access, availability, or a specific launch date.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse The Odds News, interfere with its operation, bypass access or rate controls, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization, automate abusive traffic, submit unlawful or malicious content, impersonate another person, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

Ownership and license

The Odds News and its original software, design, and branding are owned by the operator or licensed contributors. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and website. These Terms do not transfer ownership of The Odds News or third-party content to you.

Service changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of The Odds News, including beta features and waitlist access, at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the service, or when these Terms are violated. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every story or market will be current.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Odds News is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, trading losses, or losses arising from reliance on news, market data, generated content, or third-party services. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as The Odds News evolves. Revised Terms will be posted at theodds.news/terms with a new effective date. Continuing to use The Odds News after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
